I am, Marilena ("Mary")! I am an experienced early learning teacher from in Italy with more than 35 years of teaching experience in Rome.
I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational environment of the Italian language and culture, here in Perth.
With over 25 years of expertise in traditional Montessori methods, I tailor each learning experience to meet the unique of every child, ensuring that no one is left behind. I am very passioned for education and committed to individual growth through an integrated approach of different learning activities to ensure an exciting and satisfying experience for children.

My name is Chiara, and I volunteer as the Corporate Services & Commercial Manager for the Casa Dei Bambini. I am deeply passionate about early learning and about helping families find meaningful educational opportunities for their children. As a mother of two, I understand both the challenges parents face and the importance of providing children with the right environment to grow, explore, and learn from diverse experiences. The teaching of the Italian language, combined with Marilena’s extensive experience in education in Italy and her expertise in the Montessori methodology, makes me truly believe that Casa Dei Bambini offers a wonderful opportunity for children to appreciate different cultures and the Italian language. It also provides a joyful environment where they can strengthen key skills such as numeracy, creativity, and social interaction.

My name is Giulia, and I am passionate about education, language, music, and working with children. I am originally from Italy, where I graduated in Law, qualified as a lawyer, and spent the past two years working alongside a judge after winning a public competition as a legal officer. Alongside my legal career, teaching has always been an important part of my life. I have taught law in a private school and supported students of different ages through private tutoring, from primary school to university level.
Over the years, I have also worked closely with children as a babysitter, entertainer, and teacher of music and dance. These experiences have helped me develop a warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach, always focused on creating a positive and engaging environment where children feel confident, supported, and inspired to learn.
I strongly believe that language learning should be joyful, natural, and connected to creativity, movement, and meaningful human connection. I am currently living in Australia as an au pair, where I also share Italian language and music with the children I care for.
I am truly happy to be part of Casa Dei Bambini and to contribute to a nurturing space where children can discover the Italian language and culture with joy, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
